Otile Brown, born Jacob Otieno Obunga in Kisumu, Kenya, is a dynamic singer-songwriter blending contemporary R&B, Bongo, reggae, and Afropop. Raised in Mikindani, he began crafting songs as a teen, bursting onto the scene with his 2016 radio hit “Imaginary Love” featuring Khaligraph Jones.
His debut compilation, Best of Otile Brown, dropped in 2017 under Dreamland Music, followed by standout self-released singles like “Baby Love” and “Chaguo la Moyo” with Sanaipei Tande in 2018.
Brown’s first full-length album, Just in Love (2020), showcased collaborations with East African stars like Mejja and Juma Jux, cementing his signature smooth, rhythmic sound.
