Lil Kesh, born Keshinro Ololade in Bariga, Lagos, is a Nigerian rapper who electrified the music scene with his bold style. Cutting his teeth at open mic competitions, he caught the ear of YBNL label boss Olamide through a friend’s introduction.
His 2014 breakout single “Shoki” ignited a viral dance craze, following earlier tracks like “Lyrically” and “Bad Guyz.” Despite stirring controversy at the 2015 Headies after losing the Next Rated award—sparking a public feud between Olamide and Don Jazzy—Lil Kesh kept the hits coming.
His debut album, YAGI (Young And Getting It), dropped on March 17, 2016, solidifying his place as a dynamic force in Nigerian hip-hop.
